MST Motorsports

    Warranty & Roadside Assistance

Coverage that travels with you — and the exact steps to use it, even when we're closed.

This coverage is for standard automotive repair only

The nationwide warranty applies to mechanical repairs on unmodified cars, trucks, Jeeps and SUVs. It does not cover UTVs, side-by-sides, ATVs or any powersports equipment, and it does not cover aftermarket, accessory, performance, off-road or custom work — including lift kits, suspension upgrades, wheels and tires, lighting, bumpers, winches or tuning. Coverage also requires that the vehicle receives normal use and reasonable maintenance; damage caused by alteration, off-road use, abuse or neglect is not covered. Custom and powersports work we perform is backed directly by MST Motorsports — ask your service advisor which applies to your vehicle.

    Away From Home? Start Here

If you need help right now and we're closed or you're out of the area, use these:

    Warranty Repair Away From Home

Call the warranty administrator at 1-866-541-9805 (8am–8pm ET, Mon–Fri) BEFORE any warranty work is performed. They'll direct you to the nearest participating shop.

    Roadside Assistance

Call any licensed roadside provider you choose and pay them directly, then submit your receipt for reimbursement consideration, up to a $150 maximum. Claims go to mechclaims@sonsio.com within 60 days. Not sure how to file? Call us at (435) 256-8899 and we'll walk you through it.

Within 25 miles of our shop? Bring the vehicle back to us instead — call (435) 256-8899.

    36-Month / 36,000-Mile Nationwide Warranty

Qualifying repairs we perform are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first — measured from your original repair date and odometer reading. Coverage is honored at participating shops across the United States and Canada.

Have a third-party extended warranty or vehicle service contract? We work with those too.

    How To Use It

    1. 1Keep your original repair invoice — you must present it to claim.
    2. 2Within 25 miles of our shop: bring the vehicle to us.
    3. 3More than 25 miles away: call 1-866-541-9805 BEFORE any work is done. Skipping this step can void the claim.

    Roadside Assistance — Included Free

Every parts or service purchase includes 365 days of roadside assistance coverage, at no cost to you.

    • Towing to the repair facility of your choice
    • Lock-out assistance
    • Flat tire assistance (installing your usable spare)
    • Emergency fuel, oil, fluid & water delivery

    How it works

This is a reimbursement program, not a dispatch service. Call a licensed provider of your choice and pay them directly, then submit your claim for reimbursement consideration, up to a $150 maximum per 365-day coverage period. The $150 cap applies to all covered services combined. Send your claim within 60 days to mechclaims@sonsio.com — include your contact info, your MST invoice, and the provider's paid invoice.

Good to know: Coverage applies to on-road use. Off-road recovery, motorcycles, vehicles over 1.5 tons, and extra towing labor required by non-factory modifications aren't covered — ask us if you're unsure about your setup.

    Tire Road Hazard Protection

Available on new tires purchased here — ask your service advisor when you buy.

36 months of pro-rated protection against road hazard damage like nails, glass, and potholes. Year one covers up to 100% of the tire price, year two up to 50%, year three up to 25% — up to $399.99 per tire. Also includes flat tire repair up to $25 and roadside flat-change assistance up to $75 in year one. Mounting, balancing, valve stems, taxes and disposal fees aren't included. Coverage ends at 2/32" tread depth or 36 months, whichever comes first.

Road hazard damage means a tire that fails while driving legally on a public road. Trail and off-road damage isn't covered.

    What's Not Covered

We'd rather tell you up front. The nationwide warranty does not cover:

    • Preventive maintenance — oil changes, fluid changes and flushes, filters, wiper blades (belts and hoses ARE covered)
    • Tires and batteries
    • Internally lubricated parts including turbochargers, superchargers, timing chains, head gaskets, camshafts, crankshafts, internal injectors, transmissions, transaxles and differential internals
    • Engine removal or replacement
    • Drive motors
    • Auto body, paint, molding and glass
    • Commercial vehicles rated over 1 ton
    • Used or salvaged parts
    • Customer-supplied parts
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Damage from abuse, misuse, neglect, accident or alteration

Powersports work isn't covered by this program

UTV, side-by-side and ATV service, plus aftermarket parts, lift kits, suspension upgrades, lighting, wheels and accessories, fall outside the nationwide warranty. That work is backed directly by us — ask your advisor what applies to your build.

The warranty is extended to you as the original purchaser and doesn't transfer to a new owner.

An independent third-party administrator manages the program and makes all coverage, authorization and reimbursement decisions under their terms and conditions. MST Motorsports performs the repairs but does not decide claims. We'll always help you navigate the process.

The nationwide warranty covers mechanical repairs on unmodified vehicles. Aftermarket, lift, suspension, wheel and tire, lighting and tuning work is not covered by the program, and damage caused by alteration or off-road use is excluded. Important — Please Read

The nationwide warranty, roadside assistance and tire road hazard programs described on this page are provided and administered by an independent third-party program administrator, not by MST Motorsports. All claims, authorizations, eligibility decisions, coverage determinations and reimbursements are made solely by that administrator under their terms and conditions. MST Motorsports does not control and is not responsible for the administrator's decisions, processing times, or payment amounts.

The information on this page is a plain-English summary for convenience only. It is not the contract. The complete terms, conditions, limits, exclusions, authorization requirements and claim procedures are set out in the official program documents, which are provided with your repair invoice and available from us on request. If anything on this page differs from those documents, the official documents control.

Coverage requires that you keep your original repair invoice and, in most cases, obtain prior authorization before any warranty work is performed. Failing to obtain prior authorization may result in a denied claim. Program terms, benefit amounts and participating locations may change or be discontinued by the program provider at any time without notice. Coverage is extended to the original purchaser and does not transfer with the vehicle.
