Learn moreMST Motorsports provides complete truck diagnostics, repair, and service — from suspension and steering work to alignment correction, brake service, and engine repair. Trucks in Southern Utah see a unique combination of highway driving, towing, and off-road use, and our technicians understand what that means for wear patterns, component life, and proper vehicle setup.
Whether your truck needs a post-lift alignment, a shock rebuild, steering diagnostics, or routine maintenance, we approach every job with the goal of keeping your truck reliable for the way you actually use it. Shock rebuilds, alignments, suspension work, and diagnostics are done in-house by our own techs, not farmed out to another shop. Most maintenance is done same-day or next-day. Building out a 4x4? See our off-road and 4x4 services hub.
While your truck is here for suspension, lift, or accessory work, the same shop handles complete repair and maintenance. We do oil changes and brake service on stock and modified vehicles alike, from daily-driver F-150s to purpose-built desert runners. You never need two shops — MST covers it bumper to bumper.
Need something else? See our full auto repair and maintenance hub, schedule preventive maintenance, or — if your truck is lifted — ask about maintenance for lifted & modified vehicles, the routine service that inspects the parts a factory checklist doesn't.
Our shop regularly works on the full range of truck and SUV platforms common in Southern Utah. That includes Ford F-150, Ranger, Raptor, and Super Duty models with Power Stroke diesels, including dedicated Ford F-250 service. We also service Chevy Silverado 1500 and 2500HD trucks with Duramax engines, along with GMC Sierra and Canyon models.
Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks with Cummins diesels are well represented in our shop, as are Toyota Tacomas and Tundras, Nissan Frontiers and Titans, and SUV platforms including Toyota 4Runner, Lexus GX and LX, Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, and Ford Expedition. We also handle dedicated Ford Bronco service — suspension, shocks, and cooling built for Southern Utah. Each platform has its own common issues and service requirements, and we tailor our approach accordingly — from diesel fuel system service to lift kits and suspension, brakes, and scheduled maintenance for every make.
Suspension service is one of the most common reasons trucks come through our shop. Lifted trucks require regular attention to control arms, ball joints, bushings, and shock absorbers — components that wear faster when ride height and geometry have been altered. We perform complete suspension diagnostics, repair, and service including lift kit installation, leveling kit setup, spring replacement, and ride height correction.
For trucks used off-road around Sand Hollow and the surrounding desert, we set up suspension systems that balance on-road ride quality with the clearance and travel needed for rough terrain. That means choosing the right springs, properly torquing components, and making sure everything is aligned correctly after the work is done.
Lifted trucks frequently develop steering issues that range from minor wander to dangerous bump steer and death wobble. These problems are often caused by incorrect caster angles, worn tie rods, or steering geometry that wasn't corrected after a lift installation. We diagnose the root cause and fix it properly — not just mask the symptoms.
Our alignment service covers standard alignment correction, post-lift alignment, and drivability diagnostics for trucks that pull, wander, or wear tires unevenly. We also handle steering component replacement including tie rods, drag links, pitman arms, and steering stabilizers.
We perform in-house shock repair, rebuild, and service for Fox, King, Elka, Walker Evans, and other brands commonly found on trucks. A full shock rebuild includes seal replacement, fresh oil, internal component inspection, and re-valving when the current setup doesn't match how the truck is used.
Many truck owners run aftermarket shocks with factory valving that may not be appropriate for a lifted truck, heavy payload, or off-road use. We re-valve shocks to match your specific setup and driving conditions — whether that's daily highway commuting, towing, or running desert trails on the weekends.
Many trucks in Southern Utah serve double duty — daily commuter and weekend off-road build. Others tow trailers loaded with UTVs, boats, or campers to Sand Hollow, Zion, and surrounding recreation areas. Each use case puts different demands on the suspension, brakes, cooling system, and drivetrain — and a tow vehicle in July also leans hard on its AC system.
We tailor our repair and maintenance recommendations based on how you actually use your truck. A truck that tows a loaded trailer through the Virgin River Gorge in July needs different attention than one that commutes on I-15. We'll give you an honest assessment, set you up with a sensible oil change and maintenance schedule, follow the manufacturer maintenance schedule for your platform, keep tires rotated and balanced, and — if you're shopping for a used diesel — handle a pre-purchase inspection before you sign. On diesels, we also service the fuel system and diagnose exhaust issues before they cascade.
MST Motorsports is a family-owned shop that takes truck work seriously. We understand what Southern Utah terrain and climate do to trucks, and we build our service recommendations around real-world conditions — not factory assumptions written for temperate climates and paved roads.
Honest diagnostics, quality parts, and proper workmanship. No unnecessary upsells, no shortcuts. When your truck leaves our shop, it's set up right for whatever you need it to do.
