Why Hurricane Area Riders Choose MST Motorsports

We're just 10 minutes down SR-9 in Washington, and we specialize in the kind of work desert riding demands.

UTV & Powersports Services for Hurricane Riders

Shock Rebuild & Re-Valve: In-house service for Fox, King, Elka, and Walker Evans shocks. We rebuild, re-valve, and set up shocks for your specific riding style and terrain — whether that's Sand Hollow dunes, Warner Valley rock, or high-speed desert.

Clutch & CVT Tuning: Belt inspection and replacement, clutch calibration, weight and spring swaps, and heat management upgrades. Desert heat and elevation destroy clutch components — we see it constantly and know exactly how to address it.

Electrical Diagnostics: Fault tracing, wiring repair, accessory integration (lights, winches, radios), and harness repair. Sand and dust wreak havoc on electrical systems — we track it down and fix it right.

Pre-Ride Inspections: Heading to Sand Hollow this weekend? Bring your UTV by for a quick pre-ride check — fluids, belt condition, suspension, brakes, and overall readiness. Catch problems before they leave you stranded on the trail.

    Sand Hollow Pre-Trip Inspection

A pre-trip inspection covers belt condition, engine and gearcase fluids, suspension play at the A-arms and radius rods, alignment, brake pads and fluid, and tire condition and pressure. The point is to find the wear item before it strands you ten miles deep on a Sand Hollow trail.

Sand whoops shred tire sidewalls, slickrock loads suspension components, and the heat and elevation swings between the staging area and the dunes work the clutch and belt hard. A machine set up for flat-state trail riding shows that wear faster here, so the inspection looks at the components that Southern Utah terrain reaches first.

There is room for trailers and toy haulers in the lot. Drop the machine off before a ride and pick it up after, or leave it with us between weekends.

Do you service UTVs for Sand Hollow riders coming from Hurricane?

Yes — we service UTVs for riders from Hurricane, La Verkin, Virgin, and beyond. Many Hurricane area customers stop in for pre-ride inspections, belt replacements, fluid service, or shock adjustments before heading to Sand Hollow or Warner Valley.

What UTV brands do you work on?

We work on all major UTV and side-by-side platforms: Polaris (RZR, Ranger, General), Can-Am (Maverick, Commander, Defender), Kawasaki (Teryx, KRX), and more. From basic maintenance to full rebuilds.

Can you rebuild my shocks if I ride Sand Hollow regularly?

Absolutely. Sand Hollow's terrain is hard on shocks. We do in-house shock rebuilds and re-valves for Fox (Live Valve, 2.5, 3.0, Internal Bypass, Podium), King 2.5 and 3.0, Elka Stage 2 through Stage 5, and Walker Evans Velocity. That includes disassembly, cleaning, re-seal, optional re-valve, and nitrogen recharge all on-site, on our own bench.

Can you tune my clutch for Sand Hollow elevation and terrain?

Yes. Sand Hollow sits between roughly 3,200 and 3,700 feet, and the mix of sand, slickrock, and elevation calls for specific clutch setup. That means primary spring, secondary spring, weights, and helix angle tuned for terrain, riding style, passenger load, and tire size. We tune the clutch to your elevation, your tire size, and the terrain you actually ride.

Do you also work on trucks and daily drivers?

Yes. In addition to powersports, we provide full auto repair: engine diagnostics, brake service, and suspension repair. We also handle alignment, electrical troubleshooting, and scheduled maintenance for trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, and passenger vehicles.
