F-150, F-250 and F-350 Super Duty, Ranger and Bronco. Diesel and gas work in one shop in Washington, Utah.

    Call (435) 256-8899

Ford trucks make up a large share of the work that rolls through the bays here. The auto-repair side handles Powerstroke diesel service, EcoBoost diagnostics, brakes, cooling and transmissions. The off-road side handles lift kits, shocks and alignment on the same truck. You get one shop for both, five minutes from St George.

We service trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, Broncos and daily drivers, gas and diesel. If you don't see your vehicle here, call us.

    Platforms We Service

    F-150 with 5.0L Coyote V8, 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost, PowerBoost hybrid
F-250 and F-350 Super Duty with 6.7L Powerstroke diesel
    F-250 and F-350 with 7.3L Godzilla gas V8
Ranger and Ranger Raptor with 2.3L EcoBoost
Bronco and Bronco Raptor with 2.3L and 2.7L EcoBoost
    10R80 and 10R140 automatic transmissions

Suspension and lift work runs through truck services, diesel work through diesel repair, and ride-height correction through alignment service.

    6.7L Powerstroke Diesel Work

The 6.7L Powerstroke runs a two-filter fuel system, one frame-mounted and one engine-mounted. Both come out at the 15,000-mile service. Off-brand diesel and desert dust move that interval earlier on a lot of local trucks.

CP4 injection pumps on 2011 through 2019 trucks can shed metal into the fuel system. We inspect filters and rails for early contamination and talk through disaster-prevention kits when the truck is a candidate. Injector balance rates, return flow and rail pressure tell us what the engine is doing under load.

EGR coolers, glow plugs, turbo actuators and DEF quality round out the diesel drivability list. DPF regeneration behavior gets read with factory-level scan data rather than guessed at. Towing to Sand Hollow and up the Virgin River Gorge loads the cooling system hard, so pressure testing is part of a diesel service.

On the gas side, 3.5L EcoBoost cam phaser rattle, intake valve carbon and PCV oil consumption are common. Spark plugs on turbo engines live a shorter life than the paper schedule suggests.

    Lift Shocks and Alignment

Leveling kits and 2 to 6 inch lifts go on F-150 and Super Duty here most weeks. Coilover and long-travel setups fit Ranger and Raptor platforms.

A lift moves caster, pinion angle and track bar geometry. We restore those numbers and finish on the Hunter HawkEye Elite alignment rack with a before-and-after printout. That work is what keeps a set of 35s from wearing off one shoulder.

    Maintenance Intervals

    5,000 to 7,500 miles

Full-synthetic oil and filter, tire rotation, courtesy inspection. Dust, heat and towing pull local trucks toward the short end.

    15,000 miles

Both 6.7L Powerstroke fuel filters, engine air filter, cabin filter, transfer case fluid check on 4WD.

    30,000 miles

TorqShift or 10R140 fluid and filter, coolant condition check, brake fluid flush, front and rear differential fluid. Spark plugs on 6.2L and 7.3L gas.

    60,000 miles

Full fluid replacement, EGR system service on diesel, timing chain inspection on gas engines, driveline u-joints, front axle service on 4x4.

    Bronco off-road duty

Transfer case fluid inspection at 15,000 miles and replacement near 30,000 on Broncos that see water and sand. Sway bar disconnect and front locker actuator get function tested.

These are the intervals we work to for Ford trucks in Washington County heat and towing duty. Bring your VIN and mileage and we will price your service before the work starts.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How often should a 6.7L Powerstroke get an oil change here?

Ford lists up to 10,000 miles under light duty. Washington County heat, dust, idle time and towing put most local Super Dutys into the severe-duty column. We work to 5,000 to 7,500 miles on full-synthetic diesel oil, with tow rigs and idle-heavy work trucks at the short end of that window. We log your mileage and usage so the next interval matches how the truck gets driven.

Do you service the fuel system on a Super Duty?

Yes. That covers both fuel filters at 15,000 miles, injector balance rate and return flow testing, rail pressure diagnosis and CP4 contamination inspection. When the filters show metal we stop and talk through the options before anything else happens. Fuel system work is quoted for your VIN, so call with the year and mileage for a range.

Can you diagnose EcoBoost problems on an F-150?

Yes. The frequent ones are 3.5L cam phaser rattle at cold start, carbon buildup on intake valves, turbo actuator faults and oil consumption tied to the PCV system. Diagnosis runs on factory-level scan tools with live data, and repairs use OE or OE-equivalent parts. You get photos and video of what the technician sees during the courtesy inspection.

Do you align a Super Duty after a lift?

Yes. Post-lift alignment happens on the Hunter HawkEye Elite, whether we installed the lift or somebody else did. Caster gets restored, track bar and drag link geometry get set, and you leave with a printout of the before and after numbers. Bring the truck in with the tires you plan to run so the numbers match the finished setup.
