Know exactly what you're buying before the money changes hands.
A used Can-Am, RZR, or KRX can look perfect in the listing photos and cost a fortune to repair. Belt wear, clutch problems, axle damage, frame stress cracks, and neglected maintenance aren't visible without knowing exactly where to look. That's what we do.
Compression test on every cylinder. Oil analysis for metal contamination — the earliest indicator of internal wear.
Belt wear, glazing, and chunking. Primary and secondary clutch condition, sheave wear, and alignment measurement.
Front and rear diff fluid condition, driveshaft u-joints, axle CV boots, and driveline play. Milky fluid means water — walk away.
Weld inspection, stress crack search around suspension mounts, and cage attachment points. Prior rollover damage is often hidden.
Charging system, lighting, winch function, radio and switch panels. Aftermarket electrical work is where used UTVs hide the ugliest surprises.
Shock condition, bushing wear, ball joint and tie rod play, and wheel bearing check. Sand Hollow chews suspension.
Pad and rotor measurement, caliper function, brake fluid condition, and brake line inspection.
Signs of water ingestion, overheating, or long-neglected maintenance. Cloudy diff fluid, burnt clutch smell, and coolant color all tell a story.
Bring it to the shop, or we can help arrange transport if it's a longer distance. We coordinate the timing with the seller.
Full inspection with photos sent to your phone. Nothing hidden — you see what we see, exactly as we see it.
Complete digital report before you close the deal. Buy with confidence — or walk away with confidence. Either way, you know.
Serving Washington, St. George, Hurricane, and all of Washington County.
Book a pre-purchase inspection — it's the cheapest insurance you'll buy on a used UTV.
Plan on 2–3 hours for a thorough inspection with photo documentation. Complex machines (Maverick R, RZR Pro R with turbo systems) may take longer. We schedule the inspection specifically so we can give it full attention without rushing.
That is the answer. A legitimate seller with a healthy machine has nothing to hide from a pre-purchase inspection. If the seller refuses, walk away — you just saved yourself thousands. Every experienced UTV owner we know has one story of buying without inspection and paying for it later.
In our experience: worn CVT belts hiding behind fresh belt covers, water-contaminated differentials from unreported water crossings, frame stress cracks from unreported rollovers, and neglected engine oil that has already damaged internal components. All of these are catchable in a proper inspection — and all of them cost thousands to repair.
